The only thing this school has going for it is the "brotherhood" theme. The students are very close. The academics are average to poor.It is very easy to get lost in the shuffle even with the smaller than public school class sizes. Very expensive for what you get. The school tuition is not worth it. They nickel and dime you for everything even after you are paying an almost college level amount of tuition. After having paid $60,000 for 4 years, was it better than a public school education, definitely not.

St. Augustine Prep is the best school around. Amazing academics and athletics. Teachers always willing to help students after school or whenever they need it. The relationship between the students is great too. All around great school.

The Prep is a school like none other. The teachers here really make sure you understand a topic and if not, they dedicate their time to meet with you after-school. The campus is top-notch and the sense of 'brotherhood' is very strong here..you can rely pretty much on anyone. It's worth it!

Worth every penny. The academics are impressive. The small class size and dedicated staff make The Prep truly unique. Boys from every faith are treated with respect. The Hermits are strong on the athletic field and in the classroom. The Retreats and 3rd Semester trips give these students experiences they will remember for a lifetime.

This school is outstanding. The faculty are completely involved with the students on a daily basis. They truly care. The academics are first rate and very challenging. Athletics are far superior.

Great school. They ask more of the students and get it. My son was an average student with more potential than he was showing in his grades. He wanted to go to Augustine for athletics, but in the process has become a much better student.

Academics are top notch in every respect, students are extremely well prepared for the best colleges, however the social aspect is not as good as it could be, and social skills relating to members of the opposite sex need work. It would be nice to see more involvement with the girls school to improve on this. Athletics are also first rate. Discipline for major infractions such as theft and drugs are not as strict as they could be, but there is a spirit of brotherhood evidenced by many cliques throughout the school.

I am very pleased with the school! My son's whole self has improved. His acedemics are at an exceptional standard, his sorts mind and participation is well established and the brotherhood throughout the school is wonderful from the students, to the staff, to the Board. I feel this school gives their students a view what the world is like outside.
