This school offers small classes and very interactive student-teachers atmosphere. Teachers are very friendly and always helpful and take questions concerns at any time. They also provide their e-mail address so that parents can send questions or concerns via e-mail which is very convenient especially if both parents work. Using the Smart Board in the class room always attract kids' attention and it is very efficient. The schools is very clean and well maintained. This school is excellent.

We have an 11 year-old at Roosevelt and feel that she has gotten an excellent education there. Roosevelt has many very dedicated and smart teachers, and a smart, likable, reasonable and active leadership. Our daughter has had a number of teachers who are teaching advanced material but with an understanding of individual students, what makes each student tick, and the sensitivity to move all of them along. Our one interaction with the academic support components of the faculty convinced us that the support teachers are very gifted. The faculty and leadership handled a bullying incident with great aplomb, putting an end to a problem swiftly and with neither parent's nor student's feathers ruffled. This is a great place for a kid to go to school!

Roosevelt continually provides an educational environment that provides for the whole child. The teachers and parents create a large family, working together for educational programming and individual support. Time and time again, children receive exceptional academic instruction. Teachers go above and beyond to attend after school activitites, sports, club events, etc. so that the children know that these teachers care about them. The facilities are maintained to provide the safest, brightest and cleanest environment. Every day, the staff, students and parents at Roosevelt school work to make sure every child has a promising future. That's why our motto is to 'Build Bright Futures'.

I was a parent and a PTO Board member here for many years. Roosevelt is like a large family and you get that feeling everyday. The teachers and the staff go beyond what it takes to make a school a great place for kids to feel safe and well educated. I should know we were there for 17 years. I saw a lot of changes and all for the best. Keep up the good work Roosevelt!

Roosevelt School has been the wonderful combination of being warm & fuzzy as well as being challenging & progressive. Two of my children have graduated from Roosevelt with the best of memories, unique experiences ranging from learning some Latin, listening to a Holocaust survivor, blazing a wilderness trail by our town's river to the solid foundation of learning skill sets for life like problem solving, functioning in group dynamics and yes, performing well on tests. I have one more child benefitting from the Roosevelt experience and her year has been punctuated by the Stock Market Game, advancing in flute and benefitting from a teacher who brings out the very best in her.

This school is nothing less than great. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is welcoming, and the academics learned are very high. You will not regret sending your child here.
