I have a child in third grade and another in second. I fully appreciate the education my children receive, and have no question about the quality of the teachers they have had. I'd suggest our school to anyone. I also feel that our school and district tries to be mindful of cutting expenses. The principal at our school also teaches writing classes, the vice principal doubles as the spanish teacher. In addition to cutting costs, this allows our administrators to stay in touch with their students and helps them to see changes that need to be made.

Downing school is a wonderful place for children to learn and have fun. My son is in his 3rd year-and has had nothing but straight a's. The teachers are like 'mothers',and my son loves all of them.

This is a wonderful environment for nurturing and enriching young minds. I could not be happier with the teachers and staff at Downing. The school is small enough that the staff knows every child by name. The staff is friendly and eager to discuss any issue your child may have. The new 'Everyday Math' program is excellent. Overall testing scores are great every year. This is an ideal school for parents who want to be involved in their child's education. The computer class is challenging. The spring show is such a treat. The teachers truly care about the quality of their lessons. I could go on and on about the benefits of this small town school. I love the feeling I get when I think of all the amazing memories my children will have of their time here. Keep up the good work and thank you.

This is a wonderful school. The class sizes are small and the teachers and staff are very involved. As of Sept 2004 there is a new principal but I don't expect any less from her than from Mrs DiAgustino.

I love Grace Downing elementary school. My two daughters both went there and loved it. The teachers are so friendly. We are moving and just hope our new school is as great as this one.

I just wanted to say that my child and I love Grace Downing school. My daughter goes to this school, and I am amazed at what they learn and how friendly and helpful they are. If you ever need help or have a problem they are right there to help and explain what is going on. The teachers at this school are the best, and the principal is so friendly and helpful. I feel safe sending my daughter to Grace Downing elementary.

Downing school was an excellent elementary school for my daughter. She really grew academically, socially, mentally and physically with the programs at the school. The principal, mrs. D'agostino and her faculty are the greatest, they are there for any need of any child. I highly recommend the runnemede public schools for an award winning education.
