Long Memorial Elementary School

Long Memorial is a wonderful school. The curriculum is fantastic and the teachers are highly educated. The neighborhood is quaint and the parents seems to all want to be involved. It is one of the finest grammar schools in northern Bergen County.

I have had a great experience with my children in Long Memorial. We area small town and only have about 15,ooo. residents. You really get that small home town feel and a huge safety factor because everyone knows everyone and watches out for each others child. My children thrive at long memorial. they have treachers that love and care for the children and go the extra mile, no one get s left behind at long memorial. My oldest child moved up to middle school and he is ahead of many of his friends grade wise from coming out of long memorial. they install great writing habits and study skills. they really prepare your child for the more advanced expectaions that they need for middle school.. they have great extra carricular activities and all of the kids are great friends. they have a caring hand to guide the child throughout the years ther. Mrs. gorman the principal has been there since the school was first built. she has so much experience and has the patience of a saint. My daughter was reading by occtober of first grade, thats a huge accomlishment. I can go on and on its just a great environment and a great building block for my little ones. I am so happy to have them go to long memorial.

We are new to this school & LOVE it! Our child had started school in another elementary schhol in Saddle Brook, but we moved because we were so unhappy with it. The entire staff is outstanding.
