I give a big thumbs up to this school ! My son has been going there for 4 years . We are from Galloway and although they have great teachers from there , the whole atmospher is wonderful at Dawes ave . The teachers are great my son has loved each one , and I truely belive they care for him . The parents /school involvment is almost like a big family . He will be in 6th grade this semester , so it will be his last year then on to Jordan rd . I can only hope Jordan rd will be just as awsome ! A big thank you from the Luckenbach family

I have a child in 2nd and K in Dawes Ave. and I am thrilled with the school. The teachers are enthusiastic and very accessible, the facility is excellent, and the students & their families are involved. The teachers, administration and the HSA do so much above & beyond in order to provide technology, fun, and a spirit of education for the students...From the integrated arts festival to SAVE THE BLUFF. My biggest complaint? The lunch period is too short...the children don't have enough time to eat! I don't think there is another school in the area where the students can experience such a well-rounded demographic and still get the quality of EDUCATION AND ATTENTION that we see happening at Dawes Ave. Dawes Ave. is giving my children a great head start to life.

The teachers there are so dedicated to their profession. The tight knit of parent support is overwhelming. I adore this school. However the Ever Day Math is in need for much more consideration.

I have three children in the Dawes Ave Elementary School. There have been so many teachers that have made a tremendous difference in my childrens lives. Mrs. Priscilla Spickler has been an amazing physical education teacher influencing each student in a remarkable way. Mr. Jeff Seals, the music teacher is always there for each and every child continually enhancing their musical abilities.

My son has been going to the Somers Point School system since Pre-K. He has significantly improved this last year with Mrs. Gardner in first grade at Dawes Ave. I love the school, the parents are very nice and always helpful. It is as if we are a big family. I couldn't ask for anything better than that for my son. My hat goes off to Mrs. Lee she runs the school as if they were her own children. The teachers are caring and respectiful. I can only imagine where my son will suceed to staying in this kind of enviroment.

My special needs son and I moved here two months ago from Brigantine. He is in Mrs. Lovetts Special Ed class 5th grade. I have never seen such a great special Ed teacher before. She is great and a true asset to Dawes Avenue. My son has adjusted fine and he rates it ten times better than Brigantine. He says everyone is more caring and understanding here. I am so glad we moved Tracy T

I have 2 children in Dawes Ave School..they are in 3rd and 6th grade. My youngest has been there since K and my other one since 3rd..I must say I love this school and the teachers are awesome, and never have I seen before a princpal that is hands on and gets involved with the kds, a person you have no fear in telling if there are problems at home or school..she always adresses them in the most senstive way! The HSA is awesome so involved with the kids and making thier time at Dawes a time to remember, What else can I say with all that!
