"I love Van Der Veer School" said my 2nd grade daughter. She wished she could be there all year long. Great principal, excellent teachers and instructors. The best school programs to benefit the kids.
Absolutely love VDV! My son will be entering 4th grade this year and every year he has attended has been a joy. His teachers have recognized his abilities to read at higher level and have kept him challenged in his classroom! I love this school!!! Kudos!
Vanderveer is a great place to grow and learn. My 5th grade son has special needs and his teachers, Mrs. Herbel and Mrs. Pshcar are understanding and challenging. Joanna Ambrosio, a member of the child study team, is an exvellent advocate for my son. Susan Haynes has brought isntructional leadership and consistency to the school.
I have three children currently going to Vanderveer and they are all getting a great education while having fun. There are great programs during and after school.
I too like Vanderveer. My daughter is in Kindergarten and we've had a great year and look forward to next year. Her teacher was great and she's doing some very good things - hatching eggs, learning about butterflies - and watching them grow.
Vanderveer is a great place for our children, to explore childhood. Vanderveer offers many programs and promotes healthy kids. Most teachers are at very least fair, I feel most are dedicated to the progress of our students. Yes sometimes the kids do complain about the luchaides being rude, or not listening. Maybe this years teacher wasn't as nice as last year, that's life! I coach sports and do girl scouts if we only heard the teachers and aides side of how rude and disrespectful some kids can be we wouldn't be so quick to judge. I love our school and our teachers!
i have heard many complaints from my child about this school. she has said that the lunch aids are over rude. she also says some teachers are very good while others are not.
I love Vanderveer school. My child does also. He frets about certain teachers but that is normal. I think they have excellant activities for the students and offer great extra help. Every year he says This is my favorite teacher so they must all be great.
