Reverend Brown meets the criteria for an excellent school: committed, caring teachers, parents and administrators who join together to focus their time and talents to educate children for the 21st century in an faith centered, respectful and responsible learning environment.

The class size is a bit much. My son has 27 kids in one class.

I am the parent of 2 graduates and 1 current student of Reverend Brown. My children attended public school before Reverend Brown so I can make some comparisons. I feel truly blessed to have had my children be a part of the RB community. The academics are unmatched and the study skills that they have acquired gave them the skills to be successful in high school and college. We are thrilled with the new principal because he is open and responsive to our needs. He will be a driving force in the improvements of the school buildings. I am in favor of the discipline (my son is not)and the dress code enforcement. The rules are not that difficult to adhere to. And the rules at RB are only a precursor to Pope John High School if this is their chosen path. (I highly recommend Pope John High School also!).

My parents chose Rev. Brown for their six children. I am continuing the family tradition and currently have my daughters enrolled in this wonderful community centered on the love and devotion to the Lord. My children are gaining valuable tools both academically & spiritually. The self-discipline, study habits, pride, sense of belonging, & tolerance are a few of the key values that Rev Brown emphasizes by modeling our Principal, Teachers, Administration & Parent volunteers. I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity for my children to be exposed to such goodness that reinforces my morals and values at home. I have extreme respect for all the dedication, sincerity given to all children from passionate Teachers/Administration and principal. Rev. Brown academically challenges my children to be their own personal best and finds each individual child's gift and allows the child to embrace it.

Rev. Brown has a rigorous academic program with insightful and dedicated teachers. We are a catholic school, and for many parents, the spiritual development of the children is as important as their academic development. Parents at our school dedicate many volunteer hours to fundraising and various other school activities. Our family has been at the school for six years, and over that time, there has been great improvement in the fine arts arena-but we still have a way to go. We have a new principal who seems dedicated to the improvement of an already strong curriculum. Many parents are looking forward to the execution of his ideas and are responding positively to his 'open door' policy.

I am a parent of two Rev. Brown students, and I am thrilled with all the aspects of the school except for the lack of a locker room for the students. Didn't need a new pre-school, we needed to spruce up the existing facilities. Talk of the new tough principal is just whining. Oh my gosh, they actually enforce the dress code. Does the new principal think he is running a Catholic School or something. Self- discipline and challenging academic program. How else should we prepare our young people. Principal should work on his people skills.

Rev. Brown has some excellant teachers and some not so excellant just like any other school. The academics seem to be more challenging than our local school and that is why my children atttend as we are not Catholic. However, they do not have parent teacher conferences which makes it very difficult to keep the lines of communication open. Also, a new principal has really made the atmosphere very unpleasant. Splitting hairs over uniform policy and abundant RIDICULOUS detentions have been making everyone on edge and undermining the happy, orderly learning envirnment we were accustom to in previous years. As a result, parent involvement has dropped off substantially and the children are being punished by indoor recess - imposed by the principal. Music, art and sports are at a bare minimum and ususally at the expense of the parents. (i.e. $ 100 spent on art supplies each year.) Proceed with caution.
