I have two kids who are Autistic and the staff here is just amazing. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and EXTREMELY hard working. My daughter started a little after 3yrs in their Preschool Program and the milestones she has met in a few years, are just astounding. The teachers truly put in a team effort and I was shocked to learn that this school hadn't received a rating. As far as I am concerned, 9 out of 10 for me.

This is a response to the 2006 review. There has been a lovely playground as well as trips and cultural enrichment programs for several years now. The programs and opportunities keep growing!

What a great little school for grades Pre-k thru 1. Teachers are excellent, very helpful and caring. Lots of hands on programs in the class with parental involvement. Fun for the little ones!

Schoenly School is a wonderful school. My son attended Kindergarten and 1st grade there. The teachers are excellent.

The school could use a character counts program. There is no playground for the children, and no field trips or educational visits by authors or people of interest. A little refinement and some creativity and it could be a great school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
