The school is good even when the principal could be more "open minded". Facilities are limited, there is only an small playground for PreK, kids from K-8 are expected to play on the PreK parking lot. Dismissal procedure could use some improvement. Teachers are good. However we are moving to public now.
I thought St.Luke was an excellent school when my daughter first started going there , however when she got to the 3rd gr. I had nothing but problems. I tried on several occassions to meet with the principal and the teacher but they always had an excuse to be unavailable. Taking my child out of that school was the best thing I could have ever done for her !!!
This Is An Excellent School .
I have found St. Luke's to be a very nice school. The teacher's are excellent and are willing to work with you if there are any problems. The principal knows the children and their parents. They also have a special education program that is available to students who need it. Academically my son was reading in Kindergarten and is challenged and is doing very well. A great school overall.
Overall St. Luke is a very good school. It incorporates Jesus Christ, respect and learning all under one roof. However, due to it being a Catholic School there is not a lot of play equipment that the children could use during gym or on field day. There is not enough money to hire physical education teachers or coaches to have a solid sports program. Faculty cannot be beat. They are solid, caring and very intelligent.
