The principal is on top of things. If I write an email with a question I get a phone call within 10 minutes. The school itself is very warm and inviting. The classrooms are pretty outdated, but feel very cozy and welcoming for the children. The library and computer room are very up-to-date. My child feels safe, secure and happy attending Kennedy.
teachers are good but principal is totally ineffectual. Like a politician, talks to impress people and doesn't act...........! The middle of the class does fine, the classified do fine and the very top and lower ends get ignored... regarding safety...if students leave via the front door, there is semi-security. If students are walkers and leave via the back door, security is severly lacking and pitiful! Kids are simply let out on to a playground with no supervision...anyone can get your child at anytime! don't be late picking up your child!
