I was one of the first students when the school opened it's doors in 1972.I was wondering whatever happened to my third grade teacher Ruth Hiedorn and her husband who was the principal when the school first opened. I know of their two children Sarah and Matthew. Does anyone know what happened to them? Can anyone tell me where I might contact them? Thank you

I have been a parent/employee at ACS for over 10 years. There have been many changes and all working toward a greater end. This school has evolved into a superior institution with the highest enrollment ever. The teachers are genuinely concerned and committed to the advancement of each student. The atmosphere is one of great love and peace. Come experience it for yourself!

I DO NOT agree that the school violated its constitution. This is a great, non-sectarian Christian school. It does not promote one denomination over another, but teacher the basic doctrines of the faith. It has been in a time of transition the past few years, but it has also made great strides forward in many areas, not the least of which is the arts. If you want to know what the school is like, you'll have to come see it for yourself. We LOVE it! I speak as both a teacher and a parent.

This is a school with dedicated teachers; however, to my regret members of the board are violating the school's own constitution by deleting any subscription to the historic biblical doctrines of Christianity summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith.

This is a very unorganized, poorly staffed and overally priced private school. Do not send your child here.

This is an excellent school. My children love it. The teachers are caring, kind and highly qualified. Not only are the academics superior but they teach character values that are so important. I highly recommend it.

The pre-k program is excellent. The teachers are very kind and patience with the children. Your child will get a good non-denominational christian education.
