As a recent Oak Knoll alum, I can honestly say going to OKS changed my life. I developed confidence as well as strong moral values while receiving a great education. The connections you make - with classmates, faculty, friends and family of the community, etc - are unparalleled. Without the preparation at Oak Knoll, I would not have gotten into my top choice college or have been as prepared as I was. Going to OKS was actually my parents' idea, but it turned out to be the best decision they could have made for me, and I will be forever grateful to them.

I am a parent of two children at the Oak Knoll Lower School (elementary school). The teachers at Oak Knoll are extremely dedicated and caring. They REALLY care about the success and happiness of each and every child. The school has a fantastic, nurturing environment, which not only supports the academic and artistic development of each child, but also each child's spiritual development. The principal is experienced, entrepreneurial, and always striving for improvement and progress, and the parents are extremely involved. My children LOVE going to school, they love their classmates and their teachers. It's a priceless experience (which is good, because the price tag is not low).

If you notice, most of the reviews submitted here are from students. Most reviews for other schools are from parents. It means something. Girls like it. (Well, they might not like theology class, but that's to be expected. We also don't like the hamburgers. Oh, and the laptops suck too.) OKS is known for good academics, for sending its girls to good colleges, for nice girls (who like to eat) and for good field hockey. The work is hard, but the experience is one that very many girls thrive in.

Since there is no boys it makes life so much easier, and everyone can have their true personality show because they have no need to impress. Also it makes mornings easier, however we do boys a lot. And we also usually make better friendships too.

Going to Oak Knoll was the best choice I ever made. While there is not much diversity, there are many outlets for students of color to use and for others to learn about different cultures. OKS offers everything from a top-notch education and excellent sports to spiritual guidance and a laptop for each student. In addition, the teachers are amazing! They truly have a personal investment in the education of the students and offer great personal support as well. The single-sex environment allowed me to become a more confident person and leader on and off of the beautiful and safe campus. If you are looking for a school that can turn a girl into a young woman of promise, Oak Knoll is the perfect choice!

Oak Knoll is a fine school when it comes to academics. The only problem about the school is the diversity, as said before. If you're used to being in a mixed school, going to Oak Knoll will definately have you in for a change. It sometimes is a little bit uncomfortable, but it's a choice you need to make for academics. =/

My major complaint is the extreme lack of diversity at Oak Knoll.

Oak Knoll provides the best educational and athletic as well as spiritual guidance when compared to any other school in New Jersey. The school is extremely competitive and prepares the young women who attend for a professional, prosperous future. This institution is the best of it's kind I have ever seen.

Oak Knoll is te best choice for a private catholic school in the State of New Jersey. The teachers are excellent, the environment is extrodinary, and I love it. I wouldn't trade my Oak Knoll experience for anything.

Oak Knoll has prepared my daughter for life - the education, self discipline and confidence she has received from Oak Knoll is what she is today - a fine and beautiful young lady with a terrific career.
