J. Spencer Smith Elementary School

Top notch school with great teachers who really take the time to work with the children. Parental involvement is high at this school. It seems all the kids do well here.

This is truly a great school acedemically, socially and environmentally. Many of the teachers have been teaching for quite sometime and really have their teaching techiques down. Parent's participation is at its highest. This school has acheive several high school; however, may not have been the highest but, I would prefer my children to be B+, -A students and well rounded. Being an A leaves little room for growth.

J Spencer Smith is a great school. I was only there for 3rd grade. The teachers were outgoing and had their unique style of teaching. In 3rd grade 3 times a week you went to one of the three third grade teachers for science. Each marking period you would go to a different teacher for example one marking period you went to Ms. Case for solar system the next you would go to Mrs. Hemmer for ecosystem the next you would go to Ms. Fromm for weather and on the last one you would use science for freetime. My experiences are sure to follow me for the rest of my life. You had avanced math and advanced spelling programs, during the last marking period everyone would join advanced spelling. Every monday we had Mrs. Sherman who showed math theory. This is truly wonderful school.I am glad my parents signed me up. -Tolga
