I am a previous student of Tinton Falls Middle School. In 8th grade, we were assembled in the cafeteria and the vice principal told us over the microphone that we shouldn't think we're the best students in the school just because we were the oldest. I remember her telling us, "Guess what? Next year when you go to high school, you're going to be BABIES again!" Her whole speech was along those lines. I felt very demoralized and wanted to go home. When I was being bullied, the principal, VP, and guidance counselor told my mom I was imagining things and they were just going to put a band-aid over the situation rather than address it. I became severely depressed and suicidal, and I had to be home-schooled as a direct result of the continued bullying. I highly recommend keeping your children AWAY from this school!

I go to this school and i absolutely love it! Great teachers, fun activities, and many, many, many friends that you will have for a lifetime! This school is definitely one of the best.

Has some good staff who teach well, and who care about kids. On the other hand, social issues are not addressed. Some teachers contribute to the embarassment that some students face because of their learning differences.

While some of the teachers were enjoyable to speak with and taught the students well, there was a lack of intervention and resolution when it came to the students' problems. The authority figures did not seem to listen to the students when they spoke about a situation they were experiencing, and social problems were not addressed.
