Foundation Academy Charter School

MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE THIS SCHOOL AND WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT WE DECIDED TO SEND OUR CHILDREN HERE. I WILL ADMIT THAT FAC TOOK SOME GETTING USE TO BUT ANYTHING THAT IS WORTH HAVING (LIKE A EDUCATION) IS WORTH WORKING HARD AT.. THE TEACHERS THERE TAKE A REAL ACTIVE ROLE IN THE STUDENTS EDUCATION..FAC DOES HAVE A LONGER SCHOOL DAY AND LONGER SCHOOL YEAR BUT AS I SAID BEFORE IT IS ALL WORTH IT..THEY HAVE A VERY STRICT DISICPLINE PROGRAM AND THEY ALSO HAVE A VERY GOOD REWARD PROGRAM..FAC IS A VERY GOOD SCHOOL IT HOLDS NOT ONLY THE CHILDREN RESPONSIBLE BUT ALSO THE PARENTS..SCHOOLS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE CHALLENGING!! THATS WHY THEY OFFER TUTORING AFTER SCHOOL AND ALSO SATURDAY SCHOOL..IT ALSO HELPS IF PARENTS GET INVOLE AND HELP TOO..CHALLENGING SCHOOLS LIKE FAC BETTER PREPARE CHILDREN FOR COLLEGE..MY ONLY COMPLAINT...THE BUILDING NEED AIR CONDITIONERS..

Very ok school but to challenging for children. That is why they fail. I mean come on If they want children to go to college stop being so challenging. How are they supposed to go to college if their school is to hard? That is why we transferred my daughter out.

Great cadre of teachers who are dedicated to making a difference.The children are held responsible and accountable for their school work and behavior.Along with parental involvement A recipe for success.Success being defined as being prepared for college and beyond.
