I love the school. It has really helped my daughter blossom. She loves the work. I'm amazed at how fast they taught her to read.

This school is in the top 10% in the state and it s easy to see why. Sunnybrae Elementary has an excellent principal and teaching staff. I have one son that has passed through with a solid foundation for middle school. My second son is in first grade and I m confident he ll receive the same quality education.

Many of the teachers are excellent. Some, even though tenured, still are excited about shaping young minds. Some, many tenured, need to move on unfortunately. One of the new teachers, Kelly Bednarek is absolutely fabulous with her teaching ideas. Definitely a keeper. Unfortunately with the politics in this school (as I'm sure in others), teachers like this may have a hard time staying. Safety is a concern at times in my opinion. Certain situations can be handled better. Overall safety is good, though. The principal is non-confrontational and I believe he can exercise a little more authority in some areas and much less in others. The things children get in trouble for are ridiculous and I believe some changes can be made here.
