great school so far, my son is now in 4th grade. 1 warning, if your child gets Mrs.Barnes in 2nd grade you would be doing your child a great injustice if you do not change teachers, she had my son come home in tears more than once until I had to go down there and complain. The principal, while a nice enough guy, seems to be afraid of her . my sons 2nd grade year was the worst experience I have ever had in Washington Township. That woman is an impatient , bully. More than 1 parent removed their child from that class after Christmas break. stay away from Mrs. Barnes.

This is a great school with an awesome principal but beware if you have a child with special needs because while the school is great , they have teachers that have been there for over 25 years with no patience and do not have any clue whatsoever about the newer disorders and how to deal with them. You have to fight for everything with the child study team. They are paid to say NO!! to any request and will always agree with the teacher. How convenient.

My daughter is a third grader in this school. This school is very proficient in her school work. The teachers are hands on and they put their education as first priority. The teachers include us the parents in their decision about the kids problems or improvement. A great school.
