My son attended 1st grade and it has been a great experience. He received all the help you could ever want or need. He improved greatly through the year. The entire staff were great and they were all very caring.

My daughter is going into 2nd grade at Whitman and so far we love it! She has needed some help in reading and math for her first year and the school has done nothing but give her every tool they possible can to help her improve. They really care about their students and it shows!

My child has been in this school since 1st grade and is now in 5th. We both love the everything about the school. The teachers are wonderful, the principal is very fair and down to earth. The staff at Whitman truely cares about our children as if they were their own.

My children attend this school and academically it has been very good. The teachers are great also. Diversity needs to be a priority in this school.

I was not pleased with the program they have for special needs students. They were treated like 3rd class citizens. The teacher was rude, defensive with the parents and was not flexable dispite the fact she had 3 levels of students, all different ages with different disbilities and jammed in one class. She in a word was the most awful teacher for children with problems. Making matters worse there is a prinicpal who doesn't want to know...and just hears nothing. Huge thumbs down. Living in nearby Wililamstown now, in Monroe Schools and its like being in heaven. I am thrilled and thank God everyday we got out of Washington Township. For the first time since our child was 3, we feel like the district is really helping. Oh, and my handicapp child is reading full sentences after only 3 months in Holy Glen Wiliamstown.
