Laning Avenue is a dream come true for my 8yr old who just started there this September. We relocated here and she hated being away from what she knew but she now says that Laning is the best. the principal, teachers and other parents are extremely warm , friendly and helpful. as to parent involvement, it is great. Volunteerism booms at Laning. The academic program at Laning is quite thorough but guess what it is a Star school so no less to be expected. There isn't much extracurricular at the school itself but the town has more than enough to keep all the kids busy. Hey Verona is a small town so the Town's Recreation Dept handles the extracurricular activities for the elementary schools.
