Politics...Politics...Politics. Take it from someone who knows. The staff is not treated well. The children are the ones who lose. Unfortunately, many of the teachers and administrators who have the children's interest in mind do, too.
Great school. Teachers are outstanding. The principal is not the best leader, only thinks about how to please the superintendent not the kids, faculty or parents. Listens but doesn't put forth much effort. Otherwise the education is great.
Im very Happy with the Wantage School. I couldn't be Happier with my daughter's Teacher this year. She is in the 5th grade in Mrs. Speck's Class. She is my far the best teacher. She is helpful and very caring. She does a GREAT job!!!
I am very pleased this year my children have great teachers from this school and believe me my oldest child had 2 horrible years there the teachers she had were horrible thank good one of them retired and unfortunately the other is still teaching. The gym teacher is awful and disliked by all the kids which is sad very
Great School! i am very happy with the teachers and staff. They are all helpfull. I am very happy with the child study team as well and appreciative of the helpfullness they offer to my daughter, and they answer all my questions and hear my concerns. i love this school but we recently moved to a new home and had to change schools, and we, my daughter and i who is now going into 4rth grade miss wantage school very much, may you all like it as much as we did.
I believe their should be after school program for students who need extra help in language arts and math.
The Wantage School is a fabulous place to learn. I have one child who has already left the school and one still there. The teachers and staff are dedicated and motivating. It is apparent that they love their jobs. The principal is great! He is able to command respect while maintaining his sense of humor. The children really like him, as do the parents. I am very proud to be a part of this learning community!
The child Study Team is very professional and willing to go the extra mile to get the special services needed for children with dissabilities. The IEP meetings are 'pleasant' insted of the usual 'war zone'.
My child has completed this school and for the most part it was awful good. The phys. ed teacher was a nice man he's gone now. 4th gr was a pleasure Leanzo she was great loves her job & her class. She has the drive and compassion to teach & get the job done. Nerrlinger was awesome, also. Both of these teachers love their jobs. Bulling in this school a huge problem. Principal usless, for the most part.
