Woodland Elementary School

One of the best! Children are asked to volunter in school and community actvities. Chldren have to keep a log of all the work done durng each month. Children here are taught rght from young age to give and not expect anything in return. They learn what is called 'the pillars of character' everyday at the beginning of the school.

My kids attended three of the four public elementary schools in the district, so I have a wide range of experience when I say Woodland rocks. Although tha facility and the equipment is state of the art, it wouldn't be worth half of it if it did not have a magnificent pricipal who besides being a great educator, excellent manager, also a wonderful person. It comes through in the great staff that he had gathered, many of which are among the best teachers I have ever met, (I am a teacher and both of my parents are too). So two thumbs and five stars up for Woodland and Mr. Hansen!

Woodland elementary school is the most impressive academic enviornment to which I've ever been exposed. The atmosphere is inspiring, nuturing, and positive. These are essential components when developing young minds to love to learn and reach beyond their potential. The culture of the staff has an energy that flourishes with optimistism and forward thinking. Children who attend this school will be well prepared, both in academics and attitude, for their upper education experience.

Woodland is an excellent school where the teachers all care a great deal about the students and the environment is always upbeat. The principal has created an atmosphere in which the students believe that learning is fun and school is a sanctuary. The parents are active in the PTO and with the kids' education.

Fabulous school! Parents are highly encouraged to be involved and are welcomed participants. PTO is very active and dedicated. Atmosphere is energetic and inspiring. Principal and teachers are second to none!
