Wayne Valley High School

There are some students here who try and do their best to succeed, but it is these students that suffer from a lack of respect and opportunity. Instead of accommodating those who try to best represent the school, the administration tends to get in the way and make it harder for exceptional students to succeed while making things easier for and babying the worse students. Cuts always come from the programs for the highest achievers, while athletic programs get to keep their money and threats of cuts for them are met with fury throughout. Money is frequently spent uselessly on improving the fields or the track while little is spent on academic extracurricular activities. The school does have good offerings and the few dedicated students can succeed, but this is often because of something within the student and not because of the school.

Both of my girls graduated with honors from Wayne Valley and I was impressed with the education that they received. Like all schools, you have a few misguided students and a small few teachers who aren't the greatest, but cannot imagine a better school or a better education. Mr. Reis, the principal is a bit unconventional but wonderful and, as freshmen, he meets with every single student to get to know them. I rate it 5 stars!

Great school, the teachers are top notch & passionate about what they do.The coaches are equally great, as shown by the numerous county championships .Valley also has a great music program and band.I graduated two children from WV,and both had great experiences, and went on to excell in college.As in every school there are a few disruptive elements and unfortunately these get all the attention. Valley has a strict no nonsence discipline policy.

As a student, I love going to Wayne Valley. All of the teachers are nice and very helpful. The sports are all very good, and there are many clubs to join. This is overall a great school.

Having sent my children there, I love Wayne Valley. The teachers are excellent, except for a few that should retire and will soon. The school runs with compassion, largely due to its principal who seems to be all things to the kids. A total biker stereotype, but intuitive and intelligent. Kids love his eccentricity. I'm sure the same is not true of a BOE who likes the 'look' more than the truth. WV is great. Parents should go take a look as they are often invited to do. Best school in Wayne.

Highest Achieving academic district in Passaic county. 13 Conference championships last year. Excellent co-curricular choices available. Parents are becoming better educated as to how successful this school has become.

This is a school that is going downhill. There are increasing disciplinary problems, and good students suffer from lack of respect from some teachers/administrators as well. Be advised.

This school has a lot of advantages for children with disabilities and learning problems. They also have a very nice selection on sports and other after school activities for students to enjoy! They have very good teachers who know how to teach there students and get them to learn the information they'll need for there future and for college.
