My daughter is in 1st grade in Eagleswood. We have found this school to be excellent in every way. It's a small school, and everyone knows each other by first name. The teachers sincerely care about the students, and reinforce important moral and good social skills with the children. Parents in this school are heavily involved and always show up at the various functions and after school programs. Learning is Number 1 for the students, and the goal is to help everyone. Extracurricular programs are offered, and encouraged. The children are always encouraged and supported in everything they do. The principals' dedication is to be commended. She makes every effort to be involved in everything that takes place. We cannot say enough about this school. My daughter loves being there every single day!

Some of the teachers seem to miss a lot of time throughout the year due to health problems that occur year after year . This poses problems for the younger children when they need consistencey from their teachers. They should schedule their surgeries around holidays when the rest of us plan vacations instead of padding their time off with vacations to extend their vacations. The older teachers really need to think about when it is time to retire if their health is not up to teaching the 180 days that is in the school calendar.
