This is my childs 1st yr at this school. From the 1st day it has been a nightmare. The staff and teachers dont give you straight answers, if they answer you at all. They send you through loops. My childs teacher yells at them, doesnt help them when they need help, tells them they are "BAD". 'CLEARLY' you can tell this teacher is a sub until the end of november, only cares about money not the children. I think that for where we live in west deptford that they need to change everything again and move the children back around to whatever school is closer to where they live. I was always impressed with the others schools. I DRED sending my child in every day. SEND OUR CHILDREN BACK TO THE OTHER TWO SCHOOLS. My youngest daughter will never go to this school. If you don t care about your job as a principal , teacher, and staff then you should not have the job you have. This is our childrens education!! We want the best expierance that they can have, not to be told they are bad or not help them when they are having a problem understanding something. My child came home and told he that the teacher threw a coat at one of the students, AND THIS IS WHAT THE SCHOOL WANTS TO BE KNOWN FOR :(.
I would say as a parent Greenfields School is terrible, The aides are nasty to the kids, The office people are also nasty and the problems there are never taken care of as a parent don;t move to west deptford the schools are really going down hill.
I am very dis-pleased about the school...My child is in his 1st year w/ the school and he has had a very trouble time w/ the transition w/ the grade level schooling. The principle and Guidence conselor still has not attempted to make it a good transition...I know the principle is only in his second year and he and the guidence conselor shows that they just don't have what it takes to deal w/ elementary kids w/ the inexperiance. They need to either go in to a high school and work w/ older kids or learn to deal w/ younger children.
They have great teachers there! My 2 sons went there it was one of the best things I ever did. They just got new staff. They are just as good as the last staff. 3 teachers are leaving this year because they been there for over 30 years! 5 stars 5 stars!
Green-Fields is a wonderful school! All the teachers seem to be poised to take each student to the next level. My daughter is in kindergarten and simply loves the school. In just a few months, I've seen major growth in her academically! I give Green-Fields five stars and can't wait until my 2yr old attends!
Green-Fields School is every parent's dream. I have never heard a negative word from parents about any teacher or staff member that work in this school, or in any other school in West Deptford. The principal is always extremely accommodating, and the teachers brilliant and kind to each and every student. The PTO is very supportive of the teachers and students, and very active in whatever event is taking place in school, whether it be the yearly Scholastic Book sale in school, field day, Back to School night, fundraisers, and the list goes on. Green-Fields School LOVES their students and respect and appreciate parents. It is evident every time I step through the school doors. I give this school an A++. Diane Lynch
