This is an excellent school. Students strive to do their best. The teachers are exceptionally professional and have high standards. I have two children that enjoy the fact that good behavior is the norm and kindness counts for something. Yes, it is a catholic school, but you do not need to be catholic to be happy here, only to treat others as you would like to be treated. The school and church strive to make all feel welcome. It is a nice, clean and safe place. You will never run into a bully at St Jerome school.

A true learning environment with a wonderful dedicated staff that cares for their students. My son feels safe and is happy to go to school each day. He attended public school in Long Branch and was not happy and did not want to go to school each day. What a difference a school can make in a child's life!

Our daughter was having difficulty in the first grade at another school. She is a very bright little girl, and we decided SJS was a good alternative. Now she brings home 100s on her tests and looks forward to school every day. The teaching method is intuitive, the teachers are together and there is a real sense of genuine caring. It brought out the best in our little girl, unlike that expensive school where she got bad marks and disparaging looks. What a self esteem booster!

A rare gem. Challenging academic program with nurturing teachers who are there for the children and not the salary. Parents and volunteers are what keeps this school an extended family.
