i have been a student at this school for a year and a half, i had to move and the other school simply did not compare! the staff is always there with passion in the teaching and the students are friendly and they always are trying to make new friends ( 6th grade was my first year in this school district). there is always a warm and friendly environment at Readington Middle School
i have been a student here for 2 years now, and most of the time i can agree that the school is very exceptional! Most of the teachers are extremely kind and willing to make learning a fun environment!
This school has newly set up an advanced Gifted and Talented system which encourages the excel of learning. It has just recieved a new principal who is getting used to the surroundings of the school. I see great oppurtunities with her. Readington Middle School has also recently brought their mathematics program up to date. This school is excellent.
Excellent school with a wide range of educational and cultural activities for the students. A very caring and dedicated staff and a great location
Angry, overpaid teachers take their frustration out on kids...never saw an unhappier, less dedicated and more unmotivated staff in my life. Disgusting. Huge emphisis on standardized test preparation. Very high taxes.
The is a great school. I went to it during my sixth grade year. Then I moved to Florida. The two cant compare. Readington is just excelent
This school is a great example of the 'Dumbing Down' theory of education. It makes no effort to advance smart or over achieving children. The school changes educational theories in math education every 3 to 4 years. There is no Gifted & Talented program, but has chosen a weak school-wide enrichment program which is half implemented and poorly funded. There is no tracking or deliberate comingling of talented kids. The school spent a great deal of time, money and effort in implementing block scheduling in the core courses, and is now taking Math out of the block scheduling, cutting back on foreign language education, and scaling back technical (read computer) classes to 1 year from 3 years (6-8).
