My children received the best education at this school and both went on to excellent colleges. I understand there is an overcrowding issue at this time, but once they correct it, everything will be just fine.
The school is overcrowded and it seems that the administration is overwhelmed. They are not responsive and parents have to jump through hoops to demonstrate that a problem exists. Basic bullying laws are not followed, evern when well documented. When admin is contacted they circle the wagons trying to exhaust the parent. Conversations are filled with ambiguity and simple documentation is not understood or purposely mis interpreted.
My children graduated from Kingsway in 2005. They were extremely well prepared when they went to college. Both of our children graduated from challenging universities.
I am currently a jr. at Kingsway and although some students like to give it a bad reputation, the truth is that it is a great school. The teachers are unlike others and get students involved. Teachers are always there to help with your studies or if you just need advise. They prepare you for college and the rest of you life. We have so many extra curricular activities and clubs after school, as well as an excellent sports program. Kingsway is an amazing highschool for the simple fact that is prepares you better than anyone else, for the rest of your life educationally and in general.
I am a 2005 graduate of Kingsway and while I am glad to be out of high school (simply because college is more fun) I would not trade my education from Kingsway for anything. The teachers prepare you not only academically but also teach you important life skills such as time management, responsibility, and to an extent ethics. The school also has a very respectable athletics program. Other extracurricular activities include Model Congress, Mock Trial, Student Government, Theatre Club and various cultural clubs (Latin Dance). All in all one could not ask for a better education.
I am a French student and I went to kingsway regional high school in 2001. It was really great. Teachers are nice even with exchange students. There is a lot of activities, I was part of the marching band. Well, I miss my high school a lot and all my american friends. It's a very good high school!
It is the best High School in south Jersey. I went to many south Jersey school and Kingsway Regional High school is the best. They get you to care about school. If you need help in anything just tell the teacher and she or he will help you in that subject and others also. We have also great sports teams. To play on the sports team you have to have a c or high to be able to play. I am going to college now. Everyday I wish I was back in Kingsway Regional High school. I wish all the wonderful staff. The Staff really care about the students there. I hate doing work but the teacher make learning fun there. We have very hard work don't get me wrong. I was always happy to go to school there. Now I get upset going to college.
