Chaparral Middle School

I went to this school in 8th grade for not very long because i had to transfer, But what i will say about this school is if you are willing to learn then it is probably the best school you will ever go to! When i left i honestly started crying because i was going to miss it so much! and if i could pick any school i would pick this one. The students are good (as far as i could see but i was also kind of shy and never talked) and the teachers are sweet. If your a good student then this school is the school for you :c goodness i miss it so much </3 P.s. I also learned more in the little time i was there then i learned in any of my other schools for the whole year <3 its a good school i promise. I know a lot of people say its bad and even i thought it was going to be! but it loved it and i will miss it so much

Chaparral is a very fun and exciting place to go. It has great teachers that expect the kids to turn in their best work by the date it was expected. It has amazing workers and students. You will be very happy with the results you would get if you send your child there.

I have had three children go to this school and as far as the staff and education, it beats their elementary and high school experiences. The whole faculty seem to be on the same page, whether they agree with the district or not. Teachers are VERY good about keeping in touch with parents.I love that they have the strict dress code, I only wish all the other schools had followed suit... then maybe this town would have respectful youth and young adults.

My student was enrolled at CMS and I can testify to the outstanding educational environment. We have since moved and her new school does not offer the high calibur of academic classwork nor does it possess the disciplined environment. From the Principal to the teachers, this is an outstanding school.

Good school. Not a lot of extracurricular activities though. What's up with making students tuck in their shirts but, the Principal isn't required to.

CMS is an outstanding school. There is a disciplined environment and high expectations. Students have a number of activities to choose from. The teachers are topnotch!

I am a former student from Chaparral and there are no other middle schools in Alamogordo better than Chaparral. Chaparral middle school is an awesome place for any child to learn, whether they have disabilities or not. Everyone of the teachers there love to teach and the students love their teachers. The sport coaches know every thing they need to so that if your child gets injured in any way they will be cared for greatly. All of the teachers, coaches and staff at Chaparral make it a wonderful place. And all the coaches are very nice and make all of the athletes feel like if they weren't on the team the team wouldn't be as awesome as it is.

I am a student that has once been to Chaparral Junior High School, and I would say that they are very good at want they teach. They have during and after school activities that anyone can participate in. All of the teachers are very eager to teach the students here at Chaparral and they try to stay focused on what would make Chaparral a better place to learnand also a safer place for the students here at Chaparral. I would say that Chaparral is one of the best schools that I have been to during my school years. I just wanted to say that Chaparral is a school that i would recommend for any parents child.
