In the three months my daughter has been at the Mojave school. She has chaged so much for the better. Before she would not do chores and be on her computer all the time, she would be angry at her family and since going to the Mojave she does chores, she enjoyes helping in the kitchen and loves to cook. She has turned out to be a very happy and more confident individual. I know it if was not for the mojave she would be still struggling. Also the healthier food and enviroment is ideal for kids.
BE VERY VERY CAREFUL.Our 8 year old attended for 4 months after numerous detailed lengthy conversations with the school direction. Initially the communication from the school was good and things seemed to be going ok.Then communication dwindled to about once per week with all kinds of mixed messages...such as your son is doing great, making progress and then the next week, your son is in "bad shape" and we recommend at least a year here...watch out for the hundreds of dollars of extra fees and do not send anything of value with you child as it will disappear. There is insufficient adult supervision:no adults sleep in the dorms and our son was assaulted at least two times. The focus was to be on the Life Basics(manners, ethics, life skills)my son came home eating and behaving like a wild animal. They a added a sleep aid which we did not authorize and much more....
My son hated every school he went to until he arrived at Mojave. He was there for five years and Mojave was the first school he really enjoyed. He has become a mature, responsible, productive adult and I believe Mojave played a big part in achieving that. CJP
My son went to Mojave Academy and it helped him sooooooo much. He hated school before going to Mojave and could not read at all nor do math. He was 7 years old when he started. He is now doing great and loves to learn. CH
Mojave is an amazing school. My daughter has attended both public and private schools in the past as well as being a homeschooler. The results in each of these educational situations was mediocre at best. Since being at Mojave my daughter is more confident, her education level has jumped up to where it should be, she actually enjoys school and now she is learning all the things that she has always wanted to learn with all of the extra curricular activities available. I would recommend Mojave to anyone who wants there child to get the kind of education that will actually make them a success in life.
My son attended Mojave and became a much better student, and a more responsible person - and formed constructive and enjoyable social relationships, in addition to learning outdoor and artistic skills.
The math program here saved my life. They really teach you the basics so that you can get the higher stuff. Awesome!!
Our kids have gone to the summer program but also year-round. They really got caught up on their basics. Mojave has a unique way of teaching, very gentle and the kids just thrive! I highly recommend this school.
Its at least 4 stars as this school delivers what you will not find in most private schools, real education. Even tough cases are handled as witnessed by myself.
My daughter loves this school and the school has taught her to love learning. She has also learned responsibility, manners, care of herself, care of animal and maturity among other things.
