Mesa View Elementary School 1

I'm not satisfied with this school for many reasons. It is not challenging enough for students. I believe Many of the teachers here are here for a paycheck only. It is like a military camp for recess and lunch, the children are cooped up during these play times, and not permitted to run and play on cold winter days, but are confined to a small circle outside to stay warm, or after floods. children are yelled at often, to be quiet. My child went from a 'B' honor roll to failing and underachieveing in several subjects. after consulting with the teacher, I was told ' There is no time in class to go over homework, students should call me at home if there are problems' Yet the student teacher ratio for this class 17:1. Traffic is aweful, parents are forced to drive against traffic laws by staff directing traffic.
