Because it's a small town and need alot of help, they have great sports and great teachers....
This school is ok. I was a recent student at Lordsburg( a freashman) and i believe sports like football are overexaggerated. School spirit is praised highly and other extracirriclar activities are igored.
This is a small school in a community with declining population. I have 3 children who have graduated from LHS and though they have done well (2 valedictorians), I believe that they needed more options in classes. College prep is not great. A few teachers are fantastic, others are poor at best! Sports are emphasized and other extra-curricular things are generally ignored except for a few stalwart teachers. A recent change in administration has caused many changes - good and bad. If your child is favored, they will be treated well.
