The educational climate at LHS is highly centered on individual student success, and each teacher and staff member works har dto nurture that environment. Students can anticipate support in academics, as well as encouragement to succeed in extra curricular activities. Racially diverse, the LHS campus gives students of opposing ethnic histories a look into life and histories of different cultures. The Administration is comprised of former classroom eduactors who are sympathetic and understanding of the current climate in today's schools; and work to improve the educational experience for all involved.
