This school has really gone downhill in the 10 years that I have been sending my kids here. There is more of an emphasis on sports than academics. They no longer offer extracurricular activities such as drama, chess, band or cheer leading. They have one counselor that is not qualified to prepare the students for college applications, scholarships etc. The principal is pretty old school and more about treating the children like they are in the military than a school. I feel very sad that this school ranked in the higher percentages ten years ago, and now they are really falling behind. They don't even seem to care about the kids that are doing really well. Last year the Valedictorian couldn't even come up with a good speech without plagiarizing half of it, and nobody was listing to him to boot! So sad and disrespectful. I will not be sending my daughter to this high school and have her go through what my other kids went through.

This school is pretty good considering that there are hardly any available advanced classes for Honors Students etc. Athletics is a plus at this school.

I highly recommend this school to any parent. It is a small community with outstanding teachers and a great environment. The children have the opportunity to play any sport they want and succeed plus have fun. They don't have the austere environment that a large school has; teachers know each child by their name and fully understand thier needs. This will allow each student to succeed. Parents pack the gym at each basketball and volleyball home games for both boys and girls - which gives each child that competitive spirit and talk to thier children/grandchildren on how much fun they had in high school. The school offers cross-country, soccor, baseball and track and many other academic programs such as BPA, chess, etc.....it is a great environment with the right culture.

I think Pe asco schools are great. They have a small campus that is great, and they don't have city noise. I have been sending my children there for more than 13 years now. I recommened this school to parents who don't like large schools, and would like thier child to attend a loving, school spirited, drug free school. Teachers get to know the students by their name and not by their facial expressions. Every child here is liked and not neglected, all students get the attention they need. Teachers also will get to know the parents as well. Pe asco also offers many extracurricular activities, and is well secured and well disiplined.
