I do believe that there is not enough discipline in this school, my child had a GPA of 4.37 and was very well behaved, but I could guarantee that the Principal would not know who they were or recognize them walking in the hall. He would gladly high-5 a child consistently in trouble and not willing to try hard at school. Their paw buck system I though was to reward children for behaving as they should, but it seemed as though it was to reward children that would normally misbehave but on the odd occasion did behave. The children that were more disrespectful had more paw bucks than the kids would consistently showed respect. I think the Principal has more respect from the non performing kids than the kids who kept his schools test scores in the almost green. That said the teachers did do a great job Thank you !

I think the new principal is very supportive of the kids. He does insist on decent behavior, and he supports the teachers by making kids who are not behaving be responsible for their behavior. The teachers at RMS try very hard to help the kids IF the kids make an effort to communicate and try in class. Both of my kids have had a good education at RMS - not that everything is perfect, but it is a very hard time for kids, and the staff at RMS does an amazing job.

I feel within the last year since the new principle came, the school has gone down hill. Student do not want to attend school. While in I.S.S for any reason the children are not allowed to go to the bathroom except for 2 times in a day. That is humanily insane. I do not think they look at all aspect of childrens rights before making the choice on restroom breaks. I can understand when a student abused that freedom but give me a break twice in one day. Why is it that spitting a spit wad is a major offense anyways? 3 days of ISS is a little overboard. I believe a warning should of been given first before this punishment was granted. I feel that if this new principle wanted to be so tough on our kids then he should of became the principle at the boys school.
