ALHS has a major community service and internship component which serves to help students to be workplace-ready and committed member of their natural and social community.
This is a great school, especially as an alternative to the local public high school, but the math program could be better, so I would recommend taking some supplementary classes at the local university, which luckily they make very easy to do for dual credit.
Excellent school. Good prep for college and a big emphasis on the enviroment and community.
