This is a great school for those who are interested in sports. To an extent, it is wonderful that a school is so excited by sports. Yet, they focus very little on the more unpopular extracurricular activities, i.e. band, FFA, FHA. I give big kudos to the administrative staff and a select few teachers. Many of the teachers at the high school level are also coaches. Understandingly enough, that is their main focus. They fail to recognize the accomplishments and needs of those who are not in their sports programs. Texico Schools is probably one of the safest schools in the area. At CHS, one must worry about their safety and success. At Texico, safety is important. Parent involvement from the administrative side is great. They did a wonderful job keeping in touch with my parents, but the teachers never really did.

Texico high School has an incredible staff. The teachers, the coaches, the office staff, and the students, with a few exceptions, are all of the highest integrity. We feel sending our children to Texico affords us all the same rewards attending a Christian school would. The attitude at Texico is 'Yes We Can!' Each student is important. Everywhere our students go we hear the same thing,'these young people are fantastic.'
