We started our daughter in 4th grade and had a wonderful experience. The teacher was an awesome example of what a christian teacher should be. Unfortunately, from 5th grade on it went down hill. The teachers lack christian character and I don't think that all the teachers are practicing christians. I feel the school is desperate for teachers and will take just about anyone who walks through the door. Don't ever disagree with a teacher in this school. You will not get validated. We would not recommend the school because we felt like we were paying for something we could get in any type of school. Christian character is lacking among most of the staff from the top down. It is a very beautiful building but don't expect a real Christian experience. The children aren't getting the best education either. The teachers here are not required to have a teaching degree.

Our 2 children attend OSL. We have been most pleased with the welcoming environment and atmosphere of family and fellowship. The school has exceeded our expectations academically and spiritually!

Our son has attended OSL for 4 years and every year has been a complete success in terms of academic achievement and spiritual growth. Along with an excellent academic and faith based education, OSL offers a beautiful clean spacious facility including huge gorgeous gym, big cafeteria with healthy delicious menu, big playground, beautiful science lab and lap tops for use in class. Connected to the school is the sponsoring church Our Savior's Lutheran Church where our students spend time in chapel and special events. My son is especially looking forward to moving up to middle school when he can join the Refiners Fire youth ministry and learn valuable evangelistic skills and missions work. OSL also offers band, private piano and violin lessons and a great drama team who put on wonderful faith based musical productions. Come on in for a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Great school, great kids...just like a family! Very personable people...your child is not just a number...they are part of the family.

Our daughter has attended OSL since Kindergarten and is now in the 8th grade. The quality of her education is secondary only to the growth of her faith under the care of exceptional staff and school families. The availability of a middle school student ministry, Refiner's Fire Ministry, continues to help her develop and share her faith journey. The facility is spacious, clean and well-maintained. The addition of new athletic programs this school year is very exciting! She LOVES this school and is hopeful they will expand to include 9th-12th!

It is an excellent school... a loving environment and caring teachers. Being at Our Saviours Lutheran has been an exciting and wondeful christian experience for me. Many laughs, but most of all I have learned alot more than I ever could at any of the public schools I had went to before. Everybody there has kind christian character.

Christian Education in a loving environment. New building with 7th Grade in Fall 2007, including new computer lab, gymnasium and kitchen. An excellent and affordable choice!

Wonderful elementary school experience for my two boys; small on extras (for example, fancy gym, elaborate lunch program, etc.) but big on the three 'R's' and building faith. I highly recommend it!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
