this is an ok school. there really is nothing challenging about it. the complex is newer which is nice

Lake Shore has a tremendous amount of school spirit. If you are an 'Eagle' you are proud to be an 'Eagle.' Many of our own teachers are Lake Shore graduates and are honored to be working at their Alma Mater.

I m very impressed with this school. It used to have a bad reputation, fights in the halls nearly every day, etc. From what we have experienced after one year, they have worked very hard and succeeded on assessing the problems that existed and turning them around. The teachers are very dedicated. They offer a period at the end of nearly every day to provide extra help to students that need it. They offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities. The school provides a good transition from elementary school.

The music program ig great. Band chorus and orchestra, select chorus, marching band, and jazz band are all offered.
