I graduated from Lake Shore in 2004 and was accepted into all six schools I applied to. I ended up graduating from a highly accredited liberal arts college in New York with two bachelor's degrees and will be going to Law School this fall. I am very happy with the education I received at Lake Shore and never had any problems voicing concerns to teachers, coaches or administration and having them addressed promptly.

The princiapl and vice principals in 2007 -2009 worked very well with me and for my son. The guidance counselors were disappointing to say it nicely. The teachers rarely worked with me for more than a few phone calls at the beginning of the year. The sports staff provided alot of opportunities for the kids.

I recently had a concern that I discussed with the principal who addressed it immediately. I have had two students who graduated from the school in the last five years. Very happy with the education they received.

Academic standards were very poor. Guidance counselors did not advise/encourage students at all. I would say this school does not prepare its students at all for the top colleges, hence why many never get accepted.

The school does not address the problem of bullying & they do not address hate crimes.
