I love this school. The new principal is working hard to change problems within the system. She is open and listens to parents carefully, and does her best to address concerns quickly. There are still some issues, but things are improving constantly. The school has tremendous community support. My son's second grade teacher is wonderful, he works extremely hard to accommodate his special needs while maintaining a very high standard for him. My daughter's kindergarten teacher noticed that she reads better than the other kids, so gives her more challenging books to read. The PTO is active in supporting student life.
Honestly, this school is horrible.. A lot of the teachers act like they don't care about the students..(call them names, scream at them constantly, etc.) Do not come to this school.
My son has been in the school for 4 years and my daughter for 2 and I love the school. They participate in many activities and the teachers and staff really care...love it.
