I love the small family-like environment; all the kids are friends and help each other out; the curriculum changes somewhat each year and involves a lot of hands-on learning; the children are challenged in ways that they wouldn't otherwise be in many other schools.

I am a public school teacher, and yet we have dropped a car payment because our children deserve the best education we can give them. There is no other school like Peachtown that I've ever found. The parents are connected, and the kids truly love each other like a family. There's such diversity there. There are same-sex families, families from different cultures, families that have grown through adoption, families that travel the world, families of all socioeconomic groups, etc. Every year the kids participate in school plays, trips, cookouts, etc. There is no picking on each other, cursing, etc. It is the paradise of education. I mourn the fact that my children will have to leave after 8th grade, but Peachtown has given them the joy of learning. They wake up everyday wanting to go to school and dreading the weekends. Do most kids really feel that way?

Kids do they want when they want. Spoiled brats most of them. The Southern Cayuga kids do not like these kids.

A few years ago, I taught at Peachtown. Some of my former students are still attending. I loved it there. I have two sons and dream of moving back to the area and sending them to Peachtown. Hate and disrespect are not tolerated at Peachtown. If you want your children to love school and enjoy learning in a creative, warm and stimulating atmosphere, Peachtown is the perfect place. The teachers and director make it their business to know and understand how the children learn. The teachers love teaching there because they have the freedom to share their interests with the children and teach without the politics and testing mandates that public school teachers have to deal with. Students are exposed to a foreign language from the very start. Art classes are messy and creative, recess is rarely missed. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful place.

Unruly and hateful students. No diversity in sight.

All students are treated with respect and work according to their own level. The integrated curriculum is great. Students learn how to learn and how to discover information independently instead of just memorizing facts. At times they don't even realize they are learning. The mulit-age curriculum and setting is great. The 'big' kids learn to help out the 'little' kids and discover everone, regardless of age or ability, can be friends. We have loved our years at this school.

An excellent school - diverse atmosphere, fostering great sense of community and compassion. Teacher's love what they do and are very accessible. Strong academics allowing children to work at their own pace. All this and they have fun!

I think this is one of the best schools EVER! I love how the teachers aren't strict unless they have to be! I am doing math (and other subjects) 2 grades ahead! This is a FANTASTIC school if you want to have a great education!
