My school is a wonderful school! i didn't think I was gong to like it because i missed my old school Shubert. I love Brookside in fact I am the Student Council president there. Choose Brookside!

Brookside has been one of Baldwin's hidden treasures. We have a great faculty that truly cares about our children. They guide and encourage our children to reach for the stars. It's amazing every year my daughter had amazing teachers that challenged her to learn. I'm impressed with the community and the involvement from the parents. The teachers, principal, parents and children make this an extrodinary school/community. Not to mention the Blue Ribbon to show all of our efforts!

Caring, dedicated staff. They work hard to help students excell and inspire them so that they develop a desire for knowledge and learning. The principal has great vision and leadership, a hard working PTA and our children are getting ivy league education in a public school. Brookside rocks and they have the blue ribbon to show for it!

Brookside is a wonderful school. My daughter is currently in the second grade and has been taking Chess and Spanish since Kindergarten. The PTA and parents are very involved in the school...still has the feel of the days when moms stayed at home with their kids. Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury, but it give the school a sort of private school feel. My daughter and I both love the school!

Brookside Elementary School is a public school with the cozy feel of an elite private school. The educators in this school have a strong knowledge base, understand the learning styles of their students, adapt their lessons to suit the students' needs, and have open and honest relationships with the parents. The powerful leadersip skills of Principal Ivy Sherman are evident at every level within the school. The school offers a myriad of extracurricular activities as provided by the District or sponsored by the PTA. The PTA is active, vibrant, and omnipresent. This school is really a model of the what public school education should be!

The quality of the academics is good. There is always help if a child needs it. Music department is very good, a lot of the students make the nationals. The sports and activites are very light. The parent involvement is great, sometimes you can feel lik eit is to much.

I think this is a wonderful school. The teachers and principle is so friendly. My daugter thinks it's a great school. They teach in a fun special way and do it until it's done right. 'Brookside Brings Out The Best!'
