Our daughter entered Baldwinsville Christian Academy at the beginning of her third grade year, coming from a public school. Her teacher, as well as the entire school staff, made her transition smooth and very pleasant. She has done very well, and has increased in reading ability due in great part to the individualized attention she receives from her teacher. Class sizes are small which allows for more one-on-one interactions with the teacher. Additionally, there is a wonderful feeling of family within the school community. Enrolling our daughter in BCA is the best decision we have made regarding her education. We regret that we did not enroll her in Baldwinsville Christian Academy prior to kindergarten.
We had a chance to watch the newly released Indoctrination DVD - Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America... stunning! It made us completely re-evelaute how our children are being educated and desire a situation where our Christian values are accepted and upheld and taught. We checked out other Christian schools in the area - one just being too expensive for our budget and a couple of others that only went through some elementary grades and another that had the view they were prepping the students for the public system. We have happily landed at BCA and are more than thrilled with the teachers, the teaching.
We have been very pleased with our school choice... we have found all the teachers to be genuinely caring and go the extra mile and model Christian behavior, the school is growing and our children's academics are challenging and very much on level, we hear wonderful things directly from our kids about their day to day activities at school. Above all, they are learning how to apply Biblical truth to their lives - a trait that seems to be harder and harder to find. Although we would like to homeschool our situation will not allow us and we find BCA a great fit to fill our desires of traits we would enjoy from the homeschooling environment.
Baldwinsville Christian Academy is a great place to send your child for a Christian education. As a parent who is sick and tired of these public schools who have thrown and are throwing out any mention of God and Jesus Christ in the classroom, this is just the opposite. Your child will experience God interwoven in their academics and learn how God wants them to be respectful toward parents, teachers, and friends. If you enroll your child in the K4/Kindergarten program, they will learn cursive writing, alphabet (lower/upper case), reading, colors, shapes, numbers, addition, counting money, and telling time. There is an extremely open relationship will all teachers, staff, and principal. You will not be dissapointed, it's a blessing. Public schools should apply some of the taxpayer's money to use BCA as a case study on how to frugally and effectively provide a quality education, prepare kids for further academics, and make moral decisions the rest of their lives.
Because my daughter just loves the school. The teachers and staff are the best around. We love BCA :)
BCA has been a real asset to our family as we seek to instruct and train our children in the love and admonition of the Lord. I so appreciate teachers with a genuine love for our Lord and Savior that transfers into a genuine love for our children's souls and care and concern to invest in their present both spiritually and educationally as well as in the assisting their future effectiveness and usefulness. I also love the high academic standards as well as the parental involvement that is welcomed. My children have been growing in wisdom and stature, educationally and spiritually because of the ministry of those at BCA. Thank you ~
We are excited to be part of Baldwinsville Christian Academy - the academics are the strongest we've seen while teachers work with students and each is impressed to strive for their best, the atmosphere is wonderful and students are taught how to live in today's world in practical ways, there's a lot of exciting things happening and the school is progressing in all areas. We've checked other schools and proud to be enrolled at BCA!
We enrolled our son in the Fall and he is so very happy! He was welcomed and the kids are encouraging. The teachers are great too. We are very happy as parents.
Awesome Awesome School!! My Daugher is in the 7th grade and in her first year at BCA and she is learning more and more everyday! The teachers and staff are top notch!!
We have been very pleased with this school. Our son has matured a lot since he has been attending BCA. At no other school has he been so totally accepted, included and loved by his peers. The school has an atmosphere of respect and caring for one another. Good character is encouraged and exemplified by the adults. Older students are expected to be good role models for the younger students. You won't find more dedicated teachers and staff anywhere. The academics are excellent but teachers go beyond the academics by being concerned for the whole student. The school motto is 'Making much of Christ.' I'd say they really are living the motto.
