The ability for children to be very well-rounded is the most positive aspect of the school. Children are encouraged and allowed to participate in any sports & clubs that they choose. The administration of the school is horrible. The facilities from the library to the locker rooms to the computer lab to the sports fields are sub-par. There are some great teachers, but most are marginal. My child goes to the school & is an excellent student, mainly because we have has to spend lots of additional $$ on tutoring.

Our children went to Albertus Magnus. While there are great public schools in this area. Academically they have done really well, and I love the fact that what I teach at home continues at school.

I attended Albertus all four years of high school and graduated in 1990. I am truly thankful that I had the opportunity to spend my high school years at Albertus. It is a very good school in terms of academics and discipline. I would also give it a good rating socially. The students are respectful and many go on to good colleges and universities. Also, in this day and age of political correctness, it is great to have a school where it is accepted for you to express your faith. I would certainly recommend Albertus to any parent looking to send their child to a school with a positive environment.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
