MY daughter daughter entered the school in first grade and was very behind in reading and math. They have giving her extra help and she is showing great improvement over the last five months. I'm happy she came to this school.

My oldest daughter just completed Kindergarten at Fifth Avenue. From the staff and students to the parents and programs, Fifth Avenue exudes such warmth and encouragement. Mr. Fallon can't be thanked enough for establishing such a wonderful school and for allowing parents like myself to be part of it all. My daughter's first year at this school is everything we had hoped for and more.

Fifth Avenue School is a wonderful, nurturing place of learning. We can't say enough good things about the staff. Our daughter has had a magical early elementary experience at Fifth Avenue. Keep up the great work!

After reading so highly of this school I was shocked by the substandard education provided to my child. 8 Months to receive a report card in kindergarten? I found that the school staff failed to impress me of there academic ability. The teacher was clueless in informing, documenting my child's progress. In addition I feel that this school lacked in proper placement and related services, complained of being under staffed In my opinion and recent experience has shown me that the staff are very sloppy and do not communicate with the parents very well. This school does not provide video cameras or security, matrons on there buses so traveling is at your own risk while your child uses this service. The school is not responsible for your child's safety while using a contracted bus service. Our child will be attending private school without the agenda and red tape of public education.

What a fantastic school! Frank Fallon, the principal, is very involved and welcomes family participation. The environment is open and loving. The teachers work together and give the children a high education. Bay Shore schools are just getting better and better!

Both my children attended 5th Avenue and it was the best experience! The teachers were all wonderful and not only did they 'teach', but they all really cared about the children. Mr. Fallon took an active interest in each child, and actually created an 'accelerated' program for my son in Kindergarten because he was reading upon entering school. My family loved 5th Avenue and friends who have children still there all agree!

Fifth Avenue is a wonderful school that has provided a great educaiton for my sons. I am very impressed with the quality of teachers and staff that work at the school. They are very good about individualizing their academic programs to each child's needs. The principal knows every student by name and they all love him.
