I was a student og James Wilson Young Middle School. I have already graduated but I moved to another school district. Sometimes I look back to my life in Bayport. I really cherish my memories at this school. The teachers were just great. The students were all very nice and curtious. There were many fantastic field trips throughout the years and brilliant experiences for all.

I do feel this district is way behind in any type of updated special educational needs, there is so much out there i have been part of, and brought to the attention of the school, but they dismissed it ..Very upsetting

I consider my kids blessed to be in such a great school district, the teachers that I have had to deal with have always gone above and beyond to help my children. Being a single Mom I know that it takes a whole community to raise a successful child in todays society. Don't get me wrong there is always a rotten apple in the bunch, what I think happens is that people in authority tend to let the power go their head. What they need to know is that ALL children are different! Each child needs positive reinforcement that is what makes them grow, to want to achieve more. When you treat a child disrespectfully especially a child that does have special needs, don't expect that child to become respectful. Remember you get what you give. To the rest THANK YOU 1000 times THANK YOU!

I feel that this school district sweeps everything under the table. They are very unjust in their disciplining students. They do not call you when there is a problem, they play god. They pass the buck when it comes to educating these children. I have tried to make my point with these people, but they stand united.
