I have two children in this school and so far I am very happy. It is an academically strong school with devoted teachers. Principal Scott is easy to talk to and committed to excellence. The only downside is that there is not a continuous art and music program.

PS 205 is one of the top schools in New York City and in District 26! Teachers are caring and do a wonderful job! Administration is also excellent! PS 205 aides are exceptional. Parents are very supportive! I am thankful for having such a wonderful group of children to teach in such a wonderful environment. The entire PS 205 community is terrific! It a pleasure to work at this school!

I am deeply disappointed with this school. Bad leadership, lack of organization and professionalism, virtually no academic programs for the students. It's a small school with no funding. Long gone are the days of PS 205 excellence. Very few parents are satisfied with the school performance.

Happy to say that I am a proud alumni of PS 205 who has 2 sons now attending. The school is as great as ever. They have fewer classes and smaller class sizes than when I was a student.

PS 205 is such a great school that the only negative is that it doesn't continue beyond 5th Grade. Other schools should model themselves after PS 205 PTA, Parent, and Administration involvement. The children are the winners when you have a small united organized community working on their best interest. I am sadden to have to say goodbye to the school this year but I would recommend it to any parent who is looking for a versatile, top notched educational quality experience for their children.
