Went I had to go from J.V. to Sargent I cried, and when I was done when Sargent, I was happy. It does have some good staff and teachers, but it was REALLY sketchy when I was there just a few years ago.

We are fortunate to have wonderful dedicated teachers and staff. We also have a great PTO with great ideas and ways to achieve interesting programs and fun activities for our students.

I am the mother of 2 girls who have had the 'pleasure' of being students of Sargent Elementary School. We have been through 3 principals, each one getting better. There is a true sense of family in this School. My girls have both gone through on the Honor Role and I am saddened that this is my last year of Schooling here at Sargent. This is a fabulous School where everyone watches out for eachother and work together to make it a better place. The student have grown over the years and left to go on to other Schools with sadness when leaving. I cannot say a single bad word about Sargent and I am very proud to have been a part of this School. Any parent looking for a place to live in our quaint City of Beacon should look in the Sargent vicinity. They will not be disappointed!

I think Sargent is a great place to learn and make friends. The staff is qualified and friendly. The principal is a good listener and works with the parents when possible. The PTO is involved and brightens the school experience with extra activities or things for the students/staff. My son has been there for 2 yrs and my daughter starts in Sept.

Sargent as a whole is a great school. Good location and excellent teaching staff. I have been unhappy with the principal , but other than that, the school is a good one.

We LOVE Sargent Elementary! The principal, teachers and staff are wonderful, attentive and caring towards the children. They make a point to know each of them by name. They also keep a line of open communication with the parents which is great. We also love the diversity in the school. Our children are thriving educationally, socially and personally. They enjoy going to school!

As a parent who has had several children go through Sargent I can only say what an incredible staff the school maintains. The teachers and adminsitration truely care about the students and are a family. They reach out to children who need the extra and motivate the children who are above the curve. The principal listens to all sides and maintains a cohesive environment. The teachers always have fasinating things going on in their classes as well as numerous programs that facilitate community involvement from food drives to making cards for our soldiers oversees. If you move to the Beacon area I would strongly recommend Sargent elementary as a great place for your children to start their foundation in education and our community.
