!I think Beaver River is a great school. I seen the students come together when they were told about the budget cuts. The school is small which gives the teachers more time to work with each child. They treat thier children like one of there own. The high school also offers many programs for the young adults the pool and gym and excercise room after school. The parents are also involed thats who runs the book fair, santas secrect work shop etc. There was also a disabled student in my daughters class one year and the students and teacher made the child feel just like everyone eles. The teachers have had many years of experiance. I am pleased with all they have done. Thank You!

Beaver River is a terrible school especially for children with learning disabilities. Most of the teachers have no idea what they are doing. They don't care if your child can read and write, they only look to see if the child understands the subject. The are very good at covering themselves. Apparently before 2004 other parents said the school was good, since then it has gone down hill. Don't send your children to this school, because they will reduce your childs choice in life, by not teaching them to read and write.

We are new in town and when I brought my 6th grader and 5th grader to Beaver River for a tour last March, I was very pleasantly surprised. I found strong principals and guidence personal, challenging academic and extracurricular programs, single sex option for core classes and in-house medical and dental clinics. Did I mention an indoor swimming pool? The teachers are experienced and very involved. The parent/teacher communication is extraordinary. Every effort has been made to make my children feel welcome.

Beaver River teachers are caring, dedicated individuals! I have had four children in this system and their elementary years were wonderful! When one of my children was in fourth grade, he had some real learning issues. His teacher, Mrs. Allen, did absolute wonders for him! The faculty is like a community who treats the students like their own children. Check out their scores compared to the 'blue ribbon' schho nearby!
