Despite all the problems in the neighborhood, the teachers in this school tried very hard to instill knowledge and values into their students.

My son has been attending this school for almost 2 years now. While I do admit that the environment is different from the school he came from in the city. That is not to say that it is bad, just different. While I have seen the many challenges that the staff has been faced with, one thing does impress me, and that is the staff that wakes up every morning to give their all to our children. I have read and heard some negative remarks that have been given to the staff. I personally cannot agree, as I feel that every staff member I have come across, seems dedicated to teaching these children. Instead of knocking the school and its staff, I think we as parents need to step back and ask ourselves, 'What contribution can I give in order to help make this school more productive?' Thank you, Staff.

both of my sons attended this school. There is plenty of opportunities here. The administration know each and every child and communicate with parents constantly. I would rate this school and A+. The sports program here is great and coaches are dedicated. However, there seems to be a problem budgeting for equipment for football team.

My daughters and nephew go to that school and they love it, the teachers there are great and they like to go to the school, my daugthers love the school and love to go there everyday they need help with the 8th grade ELA but they have the best Honors classes in there, they have a lot of good teachers like Mr.Nanos and Mr.Mcguinn that do whatevere they can to help them get a better grade. The staff is great and North Middle School is on the top of my list.

In my opinion, I would say North Middle is one of the weakest schools I have ever seen. Its test scores are below state average. Some teachers in the school should pay more attention to their students, instead of trying to act cool. I have seen teachers be so lazy that they can't grade their test papers on time. Also I have started to notice that most kids that get in trouble, take the discipline as a joke or they think that discipline makes them look cool. The staff members should be more harsh on the discipline and take more action because what they do isn't enough. There have been countless fights in this school and most kids seem to enjoy that. If I had a choice to choose my school, North Middle would be on the bottom of my list.
